I've recently redone most of the houses in my flame city. Originally they looked just.. too...plain? With this redone i've managed to make them look so much mroe elegant, and resemble the same structure as the castle that they share this city with.
Curious about how people can live comfortably on a city built on a volcano?
Its actually quite simple. Magic has alot of influence on the elements in my litle world, and there can be a spell so powerful that as it is cast, or chanted upon, the flames and heat that dance about Athame cannot touch anything of living flesh. sio people can comfortably walk around at will.
Of course these flames can be manipulated quite easily as well. If someone were a threat, persay, they would burst into flames.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
